Bass Guitarist K. Walker Kelly is an experienced performer, writer, and instructor, with a diverse background in Radio, Television, Film, and the Performing Arts. He began his music education at age two. K. Walker Kelly is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy, Concordia University Irvine (BA)--where he was Bass Guitar Instructor in 1995, and Tennessee State University (MS). K. Walker is listed in The National Dean's List and Who’s Who among Students in American Universities & Colleges (1992-93). He has worked with dozens of musical groups in several cities and is pleased to have had the opportunity of working with such groups and musicians as Odia Coates, Anita O’Day, Denise Clemente, Sidro’s Armada, Chazz, Sandy Hackett, Ray Bolger, Vincent Price, Larry Hart, Chuck Jones, Paul Taylor, Bonny Bonaparte, Adam Shendall, Azar Lawrence, Cindy Dyer, The Calvin Shields Orchestra, Alfonso Samano, The Maurice Moore Four, Craig Sharmatt, Jerry Lopez, Bruce Conte, Perry Schirmer, Cocho Arbe, Southwind, The Indy Express Band, Romie Smith, Milton Hopkins, Kelly Schoppa, and the Ink Spots. He has enjoyed opening for Highway 101, Asleep at the Wheel, and Ed Bruce, and he has enjoyed closing for (following) Johnny Lee, and Sam Butera & the Wildest.
